The talent pool is in place to be competitive and the fan base have remained loyal in spite of the drop in play the last 10 games.

Jeff was a good guy and tried all he could, but tactically RSL never made the 4-3-3 system work. Yura is not a good fit for the 4-3-3 and neither is Plata. They need two Forwards and only one defensive midfielder (Beckerman or Sunny).

Change the tactics and this team can string together some wins. They proved the first half the other night they can be good, then Cassar went into retreat mode when we went down a player and we chased the game the entire second half.

RSL used to be a possession-oriented team who created chances through precision passing. Now, they just dump the ball downfield and hope Yura can create something out of nothing. That will never work. Yura is good in the box, but not dribbling or passing. Need Rusnak or Mulholland creating chances for speedy Plata or taller Yura.

RSL and it's fans deserve better ownership and management. The exodus of players started at the end of last season. I can only imagine the frustration in Nick, Kyle and Javi...and even some in some of the rising stars.

Jeff Cassar is a class act that couldn't produce results. Dave Rose should be next. Different sport on a different level; but, a very similar situation.
