Perhaps the restauranteurs ought to sue the state for infringement of their religious freedom to practice alcohol consumption without the Mormon's version thrust upon them.

120 page bill to remove a 3 page law requiring zion curtains. Mormon Legislators have as much business making liquor policy as I do granting temple recommends.

If the legislature isn't worried about all the white collar crime and fraud in our state why are they worried about the Zion Curtain. Offer classes for parents to learn to talk to their kids about alcohol rather than putting up a ridiculous wall.

"There might be good reasons for removing the wall, but what people from outside Utah think about Utah is not one of them." said The Jimmer from Henderson, Nevada.

Ahhh, ironic humor. Thanks for the Friday comedy. Much needed.

There might be good reasons for removing the wall (maybe not), but what people from outside Utah think about Utah is not one of them.

Do what is best for Utahns, not what other people think is best to avoid looking "quirky."

No! The only thing that was keeping me from starting to drink alcohol was not being able to see them mixing drinks. Now that I can witness them mixing drinks I fear I will become an alcoholic.
