Government doesn't have any money other than what they beg barrow and steal
from people. They love to spend other people's money. When they take a
lone out and you never voted for where's the flux.
This is very interesting since they (West Valley) virtually drove the Hail
Center Theater out of this area. Now, instead of having a privately funded
cultural center, we (tax payers) will get to pay for what our politicians want.
I guess that private enterprise has its place, unless politicians see a chance
to get more of the pie.
At $39 million I surely hope it is better than storing scenery "in a
barn." I just can't help but wonder why government feels they need to
be in the entertainment business. I'm all for police and fire, but if you
want a theater, build it yourselves. What exactly do other SL County residents
get for their $36 million donation except their government elected officials
name on a plaque by the main door?
