@at long last. . . "...How ironic. Now BYU fans know how Utes and their fans felt about the Las Vegas bowl last year..."

Oh yes, the utes had a right to feel slighted and superior to playing in the LV bowl because, after all, they are a P5 program. Their record just didn't/doesn't reflect it. Year, after year, after year...

Is the Foster Farms bowl any better? Certainly not the opponent. I hear the winner gets a year supply of chicken wings.

Losing to a 6-6 Indiana that doesn't even have a real head coach would be a train wreck.

You are oh so wise. There is nothing to lose from losing to 6-6 Indiana, but there is losing to 8-4 Wyoming.

the worst thing you can do for your football program is play in a bowl where you have nothing to win and everything to lose. BYU just got signed up for that exact bowl game with Wyo. Yuk!

BYU managed to land a game with a fan class history even worse than the U... and that is saying something. It will be interesting to see a Mangum-led team play again, though no doubt, he will be rusty.

The really cool part of this game is that Wyoming actually has a real head coach unlike Indiana. Maybe Indiana can get Bob Knight to fill in.

Interesting to me that how Ute fans come here to an article about BYU, to mock their bowl opponent and old MWC ties, when the Utes, in 5 years of being in the PAC-12 have absolutely nothing conference and bowl championship-wise to show for it. Utah continues to go to the same old bowl games it did in the MWC. Interesting how the pot continues to call the kettle black when Utah itself is going to the what, bowl? The mighty Foster Farms Bowl? Colorado went the to PAC-12 Conference championship game before Utah has. Utah still has shown no improvement, really, since MWC days. Just saying that there really seems no grounds to mock...

The cynical side of me wants to ask why Wyoming is allowing itself to play BYU. They are still bitter about BYU leaving the MWC and refuse to schedule BYU. I've no love for Wyoming...

Playing in a bowl game that has a payout 3 times more than the Poinsettia Bowl is a great "gauge of how far the UTES have grown since the MWC days

Meanwhile their little blue brothers are still suffer from prolonged "stunted" growth as a unsustainable independent.

Was it not possible to find a better team for the Utes to play? Appears someone was trying to guarantee a win.

I only hope that the Cougars and the Pokes take the time, while in San Diego to visit the Museum of Flight aboard the retired carrier USS MIDway. It's a MAJOR attraction down there and well worth seeing.

How ironic. Now BYU fans know how Utes and their fans felt about the Las Vegas bowl last year.
With Sunday's biased censor gone, perhaps they will allow this now.

    @ Sooner Ute

Playing a 6-6 Indiana team should gauge how far Utah has grown since the MWC days.

The top teams in the MW have always been solid, and this will be a good game. Go Cougars.

May as well get an early start on winning the MWC in 2017.
Just wondering, will this game count towards next year's totals?

To paraphrase Hans Olsen, "This is a good match up to gauge how far BYU has grown since their MWC days."
