"The company is embracing a corporate challenge issued to Utah businesses and agencies earlier this year: to hire, promote, recognize and pay more women."

From a woman (despite the name): As long as all this hiring, promoting, recognizing isn't being done BECAUSE they are women. Otherwise you're just demonstrating reverse sexism, which isn't right, either. Make all qualifications based on ability and demonstrated skills/values.

Men and women don't have the same idea of sucess or how to get it and there is such a thing as differences in sex can be the difference and neither understands the other. Men can't sell kotex pads and women can't sell man toys for the same reason. Not all jobs are equal not even among doctors and we all have different motives for our job and work interests.

The world of men and women are not the same, the only thing in the United States that is equal are freedoms, rights, and liberties and choices. Nothing else can be equalized or comparable and need for the opposite sex is for the same purpose, reproduction and companionship and trust which also is an intangible equality.

Men pushing women is the last thing women want, its demeaning and insulting to their intelligence.
