I grew up attending meetings in the tabernacle. I'm so grateful that it has been saved.

This wonderful historic building has been cleansed by fire, resurrected and received it's Celestial glory!

i'm just sorry and disappointed that the bldg had to be destroyed almost completely to accomplish this. who knows how many faithful sacrificing generous forward-looking men-women-children put blood-sweat-tears with calloused hands for DECADES built the original bldg. the interior could not be duplicated in 2013-2014-2015 for the "cost" of the original. maybe fifty million to restore-upgrade but that is only $$ - not likely much heart-soul; the modern laborers were honorable men-women i am certain.

the original building is gone forever - 105 years of love burned to ashes in moments
that can't be replaced or duplicated

may have as well built a whole new entity
the new tijuana mexico temple looks spectacularly beautiful

i never really liked the original design, but i loved the old building
