    I take it the new AD dodn't get the job based upon the records of the major sports while he was at Troy. Keep in mind the Sun Belt is by far the worst FBS conference.

    BYU...HAH! Those little guys down south that nobody wants to play with. They could come back to the Mountain West and we would welcome them with open arms.....NOT!

    For years they screwed USU over when they wanted in to the WAC/MWC or when they tried to institute "the Project." Now for playing with fire and being arrogant to boot, the "Whine" is getting it's just deserts and let's hope David Bednar and Henry Eyring get their way and gets' BYU out of the college Semi-Pro business of Football all the way.Those poor folks in Utah County wouldn't know what to do. They's all be begging Matt Holland to take up football at UVU. They could lay their games at Orem High School!

    LIve by the Sword, die by the Sword!!!

    @65TossPowerTrap

    Well, it's better than Taco Bell Arena, or the KFC Yum! Center, or Enron Field. I do still prefer Romney Stadium, however.

    @SilentLurker

    Well, the last 20 years haven't been so good, but the last five have been just fine.

    His first order of business should be to get a different stadium naming sponsor. Maverik Stadium just doesn't cut it.

    This is a great hire and I'm excited to see him help us continue the climb

    @Uteology would that be the same school whose season we destroyed last year? The same school who begged the Big 12 to allow them entrance only to get told no? Multiple 11+ win seasons is a great accomplishment, how about being 1 of 4 schools to win 30+ games in 3 seasons and 3 bowl games. A world-wide brand is great, still doesn't help when your qb throws an interception to seal the bowl loss, but maybe it helped you in the fight after.

    I love how utah fans will turn any conversation into a conversation about BYU. Kinda flattering really.

    So the step sisters of the poor think they can compete with the big boys. How well has the worked out for you in the past twenty years?

    I have a feeling that the days of byu being able to use back door/under the table tactics to get USU to do its bidding in the MWC are gone.

    A warm welcome to Mr. Hartwell.

    Compete against the University of Utah?

    What about the legacy program down south, with a world-wide brand, National Championship, and all those 11+ win seasons?
