Just one of many questionable decisions by murphy, none of which seem to have turned out to be very good.

Where did Jake Murphy come up with the decision to go pro early?

Congrats to all the Cougars, Utes, and Aggies who made an NFL roster. Congrats to Chris B for once again showing his immense obsessive hatred of all things BYU, not even being able to bring himself to congratulate the Cougar players on an anonymous newspaper comment board. Good luck to all the players who have ties to the state of Utah who are in the NFL.

Since you are such an avid SUU fan you read what I did. It's unfortunate but it's a fact that Brad was cut from the Chargers roster. That's highly impossible since Wagner sits on the bench for the Seahawks and Brad was a Charger. Wagner has no influence in San Diego.

Just remember that BYU have gone to the top and have won a Super Bowl MVP. Something that the Utes won't be reaching in the near future or anytime soon

I'm not surprised Sorenson made it for the Chiefs or that Palepoi made it onto the Chargers. Both have those physical traits the NFL seems to value and look for. Good luck to them both and all the others that made it. Hopefully some of those that did not will find their way back onto a roster at some point and prove themselves worthy of staying on a roster.

Stang0, I think you misread the article. Sorenson actually is going to be the starting quarterback, Bobby Wagner lobbied for him.

    Chris B

For just once can't you please show a little class and also congratulate former Cougars who made it into the NFL.
    Are you really that transparant?

Wowzers, this last round of cuts hurt. Both BYU and USU go from 13 in the NFL last season to only 8 this season (net -5) and Utah goes from 31 to 18 (net -13). It seemed like all three schools had some great prospects for this year, too bad to see so many cut.

Congrats to all aggies and Utes who are playing in the NFL - as usual Utes dominate the number of local players

Also congrats to Trevor Reilly on making the Jets' active roster. I hope for a healthy, productive career for him and his family.

of course he never impressed you. You are a USU fan after all. What mistakes at SUU? Breaking record after record? Yeah that's a huge misstate.

Nice try buddy. Even I know there are QB's with way more experience and talent then Brad. Brad just needs to refine his skills with a team that needs a QB and he'll be fine. Keep trying my friend. Eventually you'll get the truth out.

I think that Joe Kruger would have been better off staying his final year. It sure seems to make a difference as, it seems to me,that not many succeed that Junior year and then declare themselves for the draft.

Brad was going to tear it up. Those Chargers just didn't give him a chance to show what he could do. He can throw the football really far.

I don't understand this at all. Sorensen was the best quarterback at San Diego. He was supposed to tear it up just like he did when he was a t-bird. I think he probably got tired holding the clipboard and wanted to move on.
    Go brad t-birds forever!!

Congrats, Tenny! Good luck to the rest of these guys. Bummed for Tee Finau, thought he had a good chance to get on the field this year, but playing for a team with possibly the most talented D-Line in the NFL it would've been very tough.

Always tough when a player gets cut. But I am not surprised Sorensen got released, he never impressed me while at suu. Inaccurate throws while making mistake after mistake. Good luck to all Utah players trying to make the NFL.
