Only the deceased know what it looks like, and if there even is heaven.

    Scripture contains descriptions of Heaven:
"a sea of glass mingled with fire", for example, or " sea of glass like unto crystal". In heaven there are "paved works" of gold it seems. You would have to try and piece the information together and try for a composite picture, realizing that we see only in part. There is a world for translated beings also.

Paul was "caught up into the third heaven", suggesting at least three. Joseph Smith said that in the celestial world alone there are "three heavens or degrees". Latter-Day Saints believe in three kingdoms celestial, terrestrial and telestial) and an "outer darkness". Then there is the Spirit World, another dimension of our own planet, consisting of two states, one of happiness and another of misery and fear.

I have been blessed to have traveled over much of the world and I think heaven must look very much like North Idaho. Lots of people here agree with me! Numerous stunningly scenic, unspoiled lakes and rivers filled with fish, perpetual pristine mountain ranges, resplendent wildlife of nearly every variety, vast unspoiled forests, pulchritudinous air, beautiful conservative people and you should see it dressed in its autumn colors finery; breathtaking! Closest thing to heaven I have ever seen, so far!

If there isn't an endless and free supply of legos and good ale I'm not interested.

What is the grand Heaven (the Celestial Kingdom) like?

I don't know everything about it, but, for sure, this:

    - First, and foremost (yes, foremost) it is a place literally overflowing with the LOVE of God and His glory. This I know for a fact because I literally felt it and experienced it myself when I was 18 1/2 yrs old. No, I didn't die, or almost die. Instead, I experienced this via a revelation from God.

    - Beyond that, there will be friends and family there; our friends, family and people who were honest, good and decent men and women on the earth. "Christian" religious affiliation on earth does not matter, for all will be given the opportunity to follow the Master, Jesus Christ, eventually. The honest in heart will gladly follow Him.

    - There will be beautiful things to see: clouds, lush grass, mountains, trees, flowers and ponds, lakes and waterfalls. For does God not cherish ALL beautiful things?

    - There will be beautiful music. Again, does God not cherish beauty in ALL its forms?

    - There will be no wickedness, no destruction, no ugliness, no sorrow, no more death.

    - We will be busy, for God appreciates industry.

    Count on it!

The people in heaven are what makes it a wonderful place. It is a place of joy to people who can appreciate true joy.
