For Al Sharpton's credibility I have two words. Tawana Brawley.

"Point is people crying injustice in both of these shoots is like crying wolf."

Here's the deal... the reality seems to be, if blacks shoot blacks that does not appear to be racist from what we see happening in Detroit and Chicago. It's racist when whites shoot blacks. That's when certain people (who have to remain nameless) step in to do their racial ranting thing.

When sharpton gets involved with these issues, he jumps in head first.

If Al Sharpton is so concerned about the black community and seeking justice for them. He would be in Chicago where more black males are murdered by other black males then anywhere in the country. Generally speaking, more blacks are killed in black on black crimes then by a white person. But Al Sharpton chooses to ignore those facts and look for tragedies involving a white male and a black male to exploit. That is where he makes his fortune.

If this were true police misconduct I would be among the first to speak out against it.

In the Travon Martin case and now this, both shooting victims used their fists and caused serious damage to those who shot them.
George Zimmerman screamed for minutes for Travon to stop. He was punching George and slamming his head in the sidewalk. He only stopped when George shot him. The policeman has serious injuries to his face. The guy he shot hit him in the face walked away about 30 feet, then when the policeman told him to stop he ran at high speed towards the policeman who was then forced to shoot him.

Point is people crying injustice in both of these shoots is like crying wolf. If every time a black person gets justly shot, people refuse to acknowledge the reality of the situation other people won't pay attention when a black person gets shot inappropriately by a real racist.

headline on Yahoo (didn't read the article) said he has made a FORTUNE being a race activist. Why doesn't he use some of HIS wealth to help the poor in Ferguson?

Mr. Sharpton, please go to California and meet Jonathan Gentry. Or at least go to youtube and find his video about Ferguson Missouri.

The police are human too and make mistakes. I don't know the details of the case, but it seems Al makes a living on the racist industry. White men killed by black officers does not seem to be a problem. We assume the officer was in the right. But before an accurate assessment can be made Al is there judging.

It is evident that Mr. Sharpton plays a prominent role in protests, but he has never played a significant role in problem solving. Like others who have benefitted from racial discord, he talks first and learns the facts later.

A sincere question: What do people like Sharpton and Jesse Jackson really DO? It seems they just show up on the scene of an intense situation and make it worse.

Well, for once, National Public Radio got something right, so I will repeat what they sad about Sharpton as quoted in the story, lest I be censored for impure thoughts:

"The Rev. Al Sharpton has spent nearly all of his adulthood in the spotlight, earning both praise and condemnation," NPR explained. "He has been called a race-monger, anti-Semite, shameless self-promoter and a shakedown artist who has used the threat of protest to extra[ct] corporate donations for his civil rights organization, National Action Network.…"

Sharpton got his start by false claims charging a fictitious white assailant in the rape of a black teenager, whipping up racial tensions. He has made quite a nice living off playing the race card ever since, seldom allowing facts to delay or deter his self-serving "community organizing" efforts.

So, according to Bill O'Reilly, we are never supposed to question the police or any of their actions. Ok, bring on the police state I guess. Is this guy for big, overwhelming government or against it? Guess it depends on if the guy the government is hassling is Cliven Bundy or some black kid in St. Louis. Note that one has stolen a million dollars from all of us in unpaid fees AND set up an armed stand off against police, and one stole maybe $100 box of cigars and had no weapon. But according to Bill and his ilk, one is a patriot for arming himself against the government and one is a thug who deserves to get shot. I don't know the facts (none of us do yet), but the knee jerk reaction to praise ole Cliven but cheer the death of this kid makes me sick.
