Other Western Industrialized countries recognize the importance of public education and offer public support in the form of higher taxes to support its schools. It's too bad that only selective people who have a belief in social responsibility who make the effort to contribute to our schools. As commendable as their efforts are, there are so many others, likely many others who have even greater resources living on their luxury boats, their second homes over seas, their private jets, and lavish parties that could but don't have the same commitment to our children. For those rich who do thank you. But for those that don' glad that you can take advantage of American freedom at the cost to others.
