    Two for

It's not that NIU is a bad opponent. They have proven to be a great team as of late. It's the fact that they might be one of the best opponents the cougs play that year:)

    @ BlueNtheFace

Are you sure? I haven't seen any Utah fans who are excited or happy about the NIU series.

We're not dissing the UofU, we're just glad to see that yesterday's NIU (that was lousier than Weber State and such) just got so much better. Now they're on the brink of a P5 invite and our a great addition to a schedule. It was just 24 hours ago that a Home and Home with them was considered underneath a big time team.

    Congrats NIU.

What's all this chatter from byU "fans"? Are you trying to diss the kid or the school? Classy, simply classy.

Nate, I hope you have a break out year! I still wish you could take it to byU at RES your senior year, but I guess Michigan in the Big House will have to do.

    Go Nate!
    Go Utes!

Coug fans degrading the Utes do a real disservice to their fan base. You do get that you have been owned by the Utes right? I refuse to believe that Y fans don't see how silly it is. I bet most y fans cringe when they see stuff like that.

    Many would agree.

I think a lot of people would agree with that. Good thing he's not banking on the NFL and focusing on his degree. Good priority to have.

“I’m more excited to graduate in December and get my degree in economics and kind of go from there because education is the most important thing to me,” Orchard said. “Football will only take you so far and I try not to bank on it too much.”

Sounds like this young man has gotten his priorities firmly in place! Football will be a huge bonus if he makes it to the next level, but his education will be his meal ticket for life.

From a diehard Cougar fan, Good luck to you Mr. Orchard, and the same goes for your Utes. Hope you tear it up on this your final year!

You gotta love Nate Orchard. If Gionni Paul and Jacoby Hale can get healthy and then Blechen can just stay healthy and regain his old form, then look out this years Utes will have a defense to be reckoned with.

The offense is a mystery but I am optimistic this year.
