    Sorry Semi, but if you truly study history you have to see that Skeptic has the evidence on his side. As far as the spirit, that confirmation was not unique to members. It always feels great when people finally do the right thing even when it takes them allot longer than most to do it.

    The truth be told, it was not a revelation from god; it was a wise corporate management decision expedited by civil rights advances and temple work in Brazil for black members.

    Our stake hosted him for a talk on blacks in the scriptures. Really interesting and a great speaker. Nice to see this.

    I looked for this story earlier as the printed version in today's DesNews had the revelation as being received by Pres. Hinckley. I can't imagine how the author and the editor missed that but what a glaring error!! Thanks for fixing it in the on-line version. With such a water-shed event in Church history, you'd think checking the facts a bit closer would be in order. i still remember the day in 1978 when it was announced.

    Darius Gray deserved the accolades, too.
