Congrats to the Utah players and fans for having 30 in the NFL! That is exciting. It is fun to watch any player in the NFL with ties to the state. Go cougars!!!

If I were coaching or a fan of a team with a whole bunch of NFL guys I would be thoroughly embarassed if I barely beat teams who had few NFL guys. If you supposedly have the best, dominant players, you ought to pummel those you demean or it looks like you really aren't all that good.

Congratulations to the Utes for placing 30 players on 17 Professional Football rosters. I happened to notice none of them are wearing a Super Bowl ring. No bowls in college, no bowl rings in the NFL. Sounds about right Chris B.

    At BleedCougarBlue

Paul McQuistan was a victam of the numbers game. The Seahawks had to let a number of players go to make CAP space. The Hawks hope that younger, cheaper players can fill the void. The O line is the weakest part of the Seahawks. IMO

Don't get me wrong, I like your comment but Weddle proved his toughness long before he grew a beard. Ziggy and KVN have already brought "exposure" to byu and have the potential to bring much more. Good things to them. Go Utes.

    - Why did Paul McQuistan leave the Seakwahks? He started a whopping 40 games in 4 yrs with them, leaves the team and now he may not start for his new team. Must have been money?

    - What's up with Erica Weddles beard? He looks like a wild animal now. Heck of an athlete, though. I've noticed that NFL players, and it seems white players, often grow a beard of some kind and I've wondered if they do it to "look tough". Mind games to those they compete against?

    - Robert Turbin is a BEAST of a running back. That guy was incredible at Utah State! Hope he gets more playing time, not less.

Last, kudos to the UofU. Lots and lots of players in the NFL now. Nice job. Good luck to ANY player with connections to the state of Utah!

    Go Cougars!

As of May 31, the University of Utah leads local teams with 30 players on NFL rosters. Utah State is next with 17, while BYU has 11.

So Utah has more than byU and Usu combined and almost 3 times the number of byU players?

    Sounds about right!

    Go Utes
    Go pac 12
