Many high schools have made good progress over the past decade updating their soccer fields. Hopefully those with less than standard fields can make some improvements in the future or arrange to play on the football field. You don't see football being played on an 80 x 40 yard field.

Great game Box Elder! A talented bunch of players that beat a good Wasatch team and now showed their ability to win on the road in the tournament. Box Elder's pitch is also a bit on the small side and they are great at using their throw-ins and set pieces to put pressure on the offensive end. The East pitch was not a whole lot different from what Box Elder is used to. Good luck in the semifinal and Final. Box Elder may actually struggle more on a bigger pitch. Four great teams left in a talented 4A pool.

Congratulations to Box Elder on a great game. You beat a very good team. Its even more of an accomplishment to beat East on their undersized, downward sloping pitch, which gives them more than the typical home-field advantage.
