we just find out the worst drought in the weber basin was 1492. How hot was it then? In this article they just correlated drought with increases in temperature. Does that not make you question the studies?

these people are killing me saying no proof humans can create climare change. there are huge piles of garbage all over the ocean that is from only humans. and the ocean is getting more mercury every year as a byprodoct of buring coal. it just seems silly to say humans cant do major things like destroy cites. we got rid of 2 japanese cites in a week. the people still have genetic problems to this day. ask people in chernoble about clean nuc power.

Michael Mann normally charges $10,000 plus travel expenses to speak in his frequent trips, jetting around the country. Will Mayor Becker please let us know if City funds were used to pay for Mann's visit?

Narrow minded article with no basis or evidence historically or real. The only thing science knows is that earth climate does change but they don't know why.

Science itself is inaccurate and never what is seems. No charts, graphs, predictions or Ouija board game is reliable or relevant.

If anything is gone wrong in the environment its the lack of trees and reduction of water and old growth forests are out of whack with our world ecology.

Particulate pollution is severe but its not from fossil fuels or vehicle emissions. One humans breathing puts out more CO2 in a day than cars put out in a year of zero CO2, this lie has no foundation. Carbon is a natural element humans and life, its absurd that science can blame warming on its existence. Elements cannot be created and every atom that ever was is still the same over the billions of years.

Water resources and ground water is low to zero because of population and water removed from the eco system by millions of barrels a year. With no rain, no snow, ice caps depleted, become noticed.

It will cost 50 times as much to try to prevent climate change as to simply deal with it if and when it happens. And what if climate change isn't caused by humans? Then all of the money will have been wasted. I suspect that will be the case, since nobody has succeeded in correlating global temperature with atmospheric CO2. That was the point of Michael Mann's hockey stick paper - it was an attempt to establish correlation. Unfortunately, he was caught hiding data in the folder named "censored_data", and also had errors in the code that generated the graph which would turn random noise into a hockey stick graph.

I am disturbed when carbon dioxide emissions are confused with actual pollution. CO2 is colorless and odorless. It doesn't turn the air brown or gray or any color at all. It is necessary for plant growth and life on earth. The only documented effect of increased atmospheric CO2 is increased plant growth.

Let's focus on real problems and stop wasting time and money on fake problems.
