    If as a society we truly valued mothers, we would not require it to be such a "sacrifice".

    If you haven't heard it already, take a moment and watch Kevin Durant's tribute to his mother when he won the NBA's Most Valuable Player award. Its one for the ages.

    A big thank you to all women to have sacrificed to bring children into this wold and/or given of themselves to help raise the greatest asset we have - our children.

    I agree, but we need more than Mother's Day. Mothers and those who are the primary care givers to children need special protections in the way of income, retirement and health care support. We know what they are.
