Maybe 6th round, but no sooner than that. And when you are into those late rounds anyway it's anyone's guess which means it may not happen at all. And if not, he'll get a try out so if he's really NFL caliber then it'll happen regardless. Nice kid and great family.

If there are only 3 between them that would be awful and surprising. BYU has Van Noy, Hoffman, and Sorensen...Utah has Trevor Reilly, Keith McGill, and Jake Murphy. USU has Lawson and Larsen. All 8 of these guys have a good shot at being drafted, but I would be surprised if less than 5 made it.

I hope Daniel does great things in the NFL. He is a young man with extremely high character, which the league needs more of. He will surely be missed in BYU's defensive backfield!

No top starts for either BYU or the U this year in the draft, but I feel like there is a little more depth this year. I feel like they should get more than 3 drafted combined. I don't really keep tabs on the Aggies, but will they beat their last year of 2 draft picks?

Good luck Daniel! We'll miss your aggressive play at safety this year but wish you well in the draft. I have no doubt you will compete and succeed at the next level because of your skills but also your heart and work ethic.
