    I don't believe this article had anything to do with Salt Lake City finances, it was more on driver and checking over their shoulders before changing lanes which caused two of Salt Lake City Police Motor Squad to be injured. Motorcycle cops go through special training to help prevent death or serious injury. Drivers please check your mirrors and over your shoulders to make sure you are not change lanes that someone else is in.

    Stealth. Much easier to hide. They still need a regular car in case you have to be taken in, so I don't see any savings...

    i never understood why they even have motorcycle police anyway. the bikes cost almost as much as a car. a car can knock a police bike over very easy. injuring or killing them. more cost. we dont want of police killed too much of that happens anyway. the time of any real use is long gone get rid of motorcycles all together and save lives and money. because in the winter they are in a car anyway right. so why have both.
