It is really a two edged sword using Manning with live tackling, Yes, on one side we may indeed need him in the fall but on the other side we may want him to have more live experience avoiding tacklers. I am confident that Manning has the skills to avoid tacklers. He seems to be a very pocket savvy QB with a great feel for the game. He will never throw six or seven interceptions in a game, that is for sure.

Personally, I would have preferred they keep Manning off limits to tackling as well as Wilson. AS positive as Wilson's prognosis has been, he has still YET been cleared to play in the Fall. A worst-case scenario for Utah would be Manning goes down with an injury, and Wilson fails his final medical clearance in July. And then we're down to Schulz -- the walk-on -- and the guy that couldn't beat him out for the #3 QB (Cox).

And I know that KT will be here in the Fall, but he's not here now, so we don't really know how he'll turn out.

    Go Utes!
