every single player on that top fifteen list is either in the hall of fame or at one time was all-nba with multiple all-star appearances. Miller doesn't have a single one. I think that proves my point.

Read my posts again. I never said he was a bad player. I said he was an slightly above average point guard. All the praise in the world goes to him for playing 15 years in the league. Thats 15 years of him making millions! very few players are able to do that. Like I said....he is durable. His skill level is average as far as stats go. Hundreds of point guards have career numbers like him. He has been durable and lasted 15 years. the dude will never be a hall of famer. He will be looked at as a better than average point guard who played a long time.

Hilarious commercial! I just love the look that Karl Malone gives Damian as he walks in the door carrying burgers!

Check out Malone's arms and shoulders, the guy's still in great shape.

But being durable isn't a skill? Being able to play for as long as Andre has, at the level he is still playing at is an incredible skill, and it does make him better than average or slightly above.

    @Uncle Rico and UU32

Would you also argue that Shawn Bradley was more than an NBA above average center, since he is 14th all-time for blocks?

Number 9 all-time assists is not a "weak stat".

You are kidding me right? Bob Cousy played 258 less games than Andre Miller. Again andre miller is a durable player but please dont bring weak stats to prove a silly point.
Andre's career stats aren't incredible 13 points 7 assists. He is a better than average point guard. he's never been an all-star the highest achievement he has had is he led the league in assists 1 year. Quit pretending he is better than he is. He is DURABLE.

    Re: nhatch82

Miller was not just a slightly above average point guard. He is 9th alltime in assists. Here are the other guys who are on the list, but I guess you consider Bob Cousy average.

    Assists Leaders
    1 John Stockton
    2 Jason Kidd
    4 Mark Jackson
    5 Magic Johnson
    6 Oscar Robertson
    7 Isiah Thomas
    8 Gary Payton
    10 Rod Strickland
    11 Maurice Cheeks
    12 Lenny Wilkens
    13 Terry Porter
    14 Tim Hardaway
    15 Bob Cousy

I think time will prove Lillard to be a far superior player to Andre Miller. Miller was/is durable, but how many all-star appearances did he have. He would be considered a slightly above average point guard for his career? Damian will be a perennial all-star

Happy for you Damian! You still have a ton of supporters here and we hope to see you leading the Jazz one day.

You are the best guard, by far, to come out of Utah since Andre Miller, and you're showing that you and Andre are the top two in the league from Utah.

    Go Wilcats
    Go Utes
    Go Damian
