Late in the basketball season I started paying closer attention to the Women's team and found that I enjoyed watching their games a lot more than I did the men's team. This group really played extremely well together, they picked each other up, they all found ways to contribute even when their shots were off, and players coming off the bench knew their roles and came in and busted their butts to produce during their limited time inthe game.

This was a really fun team to watch, especially how focused they were at running their offense and getting the ball into the post. Judkins did a nice job putting an offense into place that played to the strengths of each player but didn't rely too heavily on any individual player. If one player was slumping they had others they could turn to. There was no selfishness to this team at all (unlike the men's team).

Grats to the ladies for getting to the sweet 16 and putting a scare into the mighty UConn gals. Only team this year to lead the UConn team in the second half, that's saying something considering the beat the opposition by an average of 39. Now let's go outside the state and get some 3 star and 4 star recruits!
