If you had to answer inane question after inane question from the media, you'd get chippy too.
Asking about academic status in Spring, when it won't actually be counted for 4 months, is pointless. It's like asking a coach during warmups, "So, how's your game plan looking so far?
When the best question they can come up with after a game winning touchdown is "How did it feel to score the winning touchdown?", you know there's a problem in the media.

For me, this has little to nothing to do with the upcoming season. Show us the evidence of intensity when it matters - August through the beginning of January (hopefully).

Sounds like the chippy attitude is coming from the top. I've never heard a more sarcastic response from Bronco than the one in the article about Kearsley and Matthews' academic status.

Looks like "will over skill" is working out well.

    Chris B

During the Bronco/Kyle era, Bronco has a BETTER record, by far, versus PAC 12 teams than Kyle, including 2-1 versus Washington, compared to 0-2 for Kyle.

A team that's gone 4-5, 3-6, 2-7, 9-18 overall, and has only qualified for one bowl game since joining the PAC 12, has no business beating their chests about their recent football achievements.

Yes, you managed to upset Stanford, at home, but you were also incapable of beating Washington State in order to qualify for a bowl.

Another losing, bowl less season awaits U; something Utah fans are getting very accustomed to.

Once ute players, staff, and fans get to the point where BYU has Nothing to do with their identity then they will win a rose bowl within a season or two.

    Mark it down.

Chris, I think you meant to say Utah might beat Colorado in the Battle for the Bottom.

There is a lot of fight in this byu team.

I think if the team can put it all together byu can beat Virgina next year.

Last year, Virginia, who didn't beat a single other division 1 team other than byu was too much. But with the go fast go hard offense improving I think byu will beat Virginia.

I think beating Cal is also possible. byu hasn't been able to beat many pac 12 teams lately, and is 0-4 against a team byu fans call the Pac 12 doormat, but with Cal being the worst in the Pac 12, byu has a shot in that game.

"You look like a bunch of fifth grade sissies after a cat fight! You got anger, that's good you're gonna need it, you got aggression that's even better you're gonna need that, too. But any little two year old child can throw a fit! Football is about controlling that anger, harnessing that aggression into a team effort to achieve perfection!"

Looks like BYU is still on the Quest.

Chris, I really think if Utah can really put it all together they might just win 4 games this upcoming year, resume their rightful position as the doormat of the PAC 10 + U, and wave bye bye to Coach Whit.
It is easy to make predictions that always fall through like you do. Here is a prediction that will be a fact. The Y goes bowling, the U sits home yet again.

Love to see tempers flare between linemen. BYU's o-line needs a nasty edge.
