It looks like a magnet for skate boards, drug deals, and graffiti. I hope the
city is ready to maintain and patrol it. But any time we can give
a little character to our city, that is a good thing. We might even get buses of
tourists traveling out to see the "Point of Interest" and doing a little
shopping in Sugarhouse.
My biggest concern all along with this is that we already have a fairly large
community of homeless folks who live in and around the park and the shoreline
trail area near the mouth of the canyon and I believe it likely that the tunnel
will become no more than a shelter for them and an convenient spot for drug
deals out of sight of the public and law enforcement.I hope I'm
