I would like to know how many representatives who voted yes for the grading system would actually become more involved with their local public school if it earned a failing grade, and what exactly "becoming more involved" means.

The grading system is flawed. No matter how good the teacher is, there are factors that the school can't control, such as attendance, tardies, student attitudes, work completion, etc.

    I don't get it.

Shouldn't the teacher and schools decide the grades?

Teaching is more important than grading.
