I missed 4 days of work, $100 and a visit to the Doctor later said that I was not sick at all.
He suggested I buy some disposable surgical masks and try that.

The Good News - it Worked, my coughing went away!
The Bad News - it Worked, my coughing was actually due to Utah's filthy dirty air!

    God must be sad,
He gives us a Word of Wisdom to keep our bodies clean and pure.

Some live the letter of the law and do not smoke tobacco.
Others of us are made to suffer and unable to live the true spirit of the Law.

    Utah -- of all places.
Those who are LDS should know better, and then willfully refuse to obey.

This subject cracks me up. Our politicians increased the speed limit. Cars best effeciency is at about 60 MPH. I almost always use the cars computer to drive on the free way. I set it for 60. It increases my MPG about 3 to 5 miles. The RPM's are at about 2500. For 80 miles per hour the RPM jumps to about 3300 to 3500 RPM's. More Hydrocarbons and other polutant molecules are ommitted into the atmosphere. Also another consideration. What do you think the heat that my 2500 RPM's is compared to your 3500RPM's is. My Honda Accord has over 320,000 miles on it. It still gets 30 miles per gallon. Lets address wear and tear on the engine. Higher RPM'a and higher speeds wears your vehicle much sooner. Your resale value dives. Your maintenance costs are driven higher. You have to buy another vehicle sooner. Like buyiing more gas? Question: The molecules that are produced in the combustion process, do they carry a positive or negative charge? Could that be a solution? Fix the problem. During the inversion seasons drop and the speed limit to 60 along the Wasatch Front. Who is the big doners to the sponsers to this bill?

...and some Utahns cope by telling themselves that the inversion is natural.

Paranoia over misinformation and lies is behind this families extremism. Extremism and paranoia usually begin with those who don't know what they are dealing with so they create their own imaginary fears because they don't understand what they are dealing with. Much like the Pagan mystical gods to explain what they don't know about science and reality.

The governor and the medical industry have issued no such warning precautions either so misinformation and paranoia turns to paganism. The leaders have never released or explained particulates, all they say is pollution implying its vehicle emissions which it is not.

The only good the masks are for is prevent spreading of diseases and airborne illness, particulates in the air are not necessarily harmful and that is why paranoia is spreading. The body has its own built in evolutionary defenses that can compensate for most particulates but state is keeping a lid on these particulates.

If the truth were reported, dirt, salt, cement dust, road tar, and rubber chips are what this brown river hovering over I-15 is comprised of. It has worsened since we imporved the I-15 with thousands of miles of added roads through this inversion district.
