With his demographic background, coming from New York state, the Knicks would be an advantageous move by the franchise.

Ekute yeah I don't know how much you make but for 99% of American it takes 3 life time to make how much he makes. If you are that 1% congratulations to you but I doubt it.
As of right now Jimmer makes few thousands more than trey burk per Google. Lots of people get dropped off every year from NBA so what's the big deal if this guy gets drop or gets lower salary which will still be way too much . He was really good at school, in fact most entertaining Ever but nobody thought he will be all star. He was drafted 10th during really shallow draft . He was drafted for being able to shoot and he still has that skill.
I am a utah fan but it is sickening to see utah fans hate jimmer for no reason. Are we still hurt from when he dropped 47 on us. Time to move on and support a class guy.

I suppose he could be, if that's where he has a layover on his flight to Istanbul.

@ekute - since when is $3.3M the minimum? With the buyout, he may end up above $3.3M this year. We'll likely get the minimum on top of his contract with his buyout.

Your doubt that any teams will compete for him does not align with SI, ESPN or Yahoo Sports. All of them think there will be 5 or 6 teams competing for his services, as an important roll player. But as a Ute fan, U probably know more about his marketability than these sports experts.

Ekute Lower salary? The guy already has more money than you will make in your 3 life time . I don't think we need to worry about his pay.

I guess you can spin it into a "very nice situation". National Player Of The Year and Lottery Pick is now a minimum salary player. I doubt any teams will compete for him.

Very nice situation for Jimmer to be in. He will likely have two or three choices to pick from and having dialogue with those teams can decide the best fit for him.
