caleb-- They were a variety of shots other than the 3's. Some were pull up jumpers with a few drives to the rim. Just really good selection.

way to go Anson, you should have had more minutes early on in the season.

It was widely reported the kings would have accepted a second round pick for lottery pick Jimmer.

And no one was interested even at that!?

did any of you watch all of the Portland game. I only saw a few minutes of it and I don't remember seeing Winder score. I read that he was 7 for 8 from the field and 1 for 2 from 3s. That means he was 6 for 6 for 2-point shots What was his shot chart for his 2 point shot? All open layups, long jumpers?

It's absolutely true, that "Winder deserves a ton of credit for staying mentally prepared and positive enough". Go Cougars!

Wow, Winder's offense stats (which don't even mention 14 of the last 14 free throws) offer a pretty compelling case for more minutes, especially considering his solid defensive performances. I doubt Coach Rose reads Deseret News articles on his team, or especially reader comments, but I sure wish he would read the above article.

Three cheers for Anson Winder! Obviously has a hot hand and WOW! 14/14 from the free throw line! Not sure if even Tyler Haws has had that good of a stretch this season!
