It's nice to be relevant. Why else would a broken Utah record and a very broken Southern Utah record play constantly on the USU fan board? Jealousy? Resentment? Envy? Desperation? It's tough to say.

Oh well... let the good times roll. Go Aggies!

Stang0, Utah did not beat USU year before last, and the 2013 game was decided by an onside kick. But that doesn't matter, what does matter is USU is competitive at it's level of competition, and U is not. The reason...better coaching, better scouting, better attitude, better game planning. Just as SUU can't compete at the level of USU, USU shouldn't be expected to compete at the Pac 12 level. But USU is at the top of MWD conference and the U is at the bottom of the Pac12. The Aggies are without question among the most improved national football teams over the past decade and that you cannot argue with. (or if you do what teams would you say showed more improvement than USU?)

Utah does beat USU with those better recruits. The truth is the truth.

Chris can have his recruiting and star smack if he wants. Who honestly cares if the Utes have a better recruiting class than the Aggies? If U don't have winning seasons and go to bowl games, so what if U have better recruits? U are still not winning enough games.

Utah State has like 1/5 of the resources of the Utes... and yet we do so much more with so much less. So why do U care about little old Utah State again, Chris? I thought we were just that cute little school up north and that mighty PAC schools had better things to do than pick on Mountain West schools.

    I guess I was wrong.

I have never seen trophies handed out for recruiting. You recruit the best you can and then you have to play the games. Trophies comes from going to a bowl game and winning said bowl game.

The real unspoken question that resides back in the shadows is how long Coach Wells and his staff will remain at USU. Even Boise State had a recent HC vacancy, and as much as we all know the Cache Valley is God's Country, unfortunately some see the USU HC job as a stepping stone.

Hopefully USU will enjoy Coach Wells' presence for many years, certainly at least enough time to provide consistency and stability to a program that receives a remarkable level of mega-support from the local USU faithful. Love those folks in the stands, they're almost as fun to watch as the games.

So what? Do you think the Aggies are the 26th best team in the West? Their record indicates they can take lesser athletes and transform them into stars (ala Wagner, Turbin, etc). Only conclusion...the Aggies have superior coaching and better scouting. I wouldn't crow too much since Utah is at the bottom of the Pac 12 and competes for cellar dweller for the past five years, not to mention 5 of the Aggie recruits were offered by Utah. GO AGGIES

Congratulations to Coach Wells and all aggies, you have the #26 recruiting class in the west out of the Pac 12, the WAC, and byu.

There are 26 total teams in the west.
