Pretty miraculous win, given how poorly BYU played in games 1 and 3 (and how off Taylor Sander was most of the night). Tyler Heap needs to develop a little more deception in his setting, and his placement often leaves something to be desired, but then it isn't like the Cougs' passing was stellar this week. As Heap goes this season, so goes the team.

    Great win!
BYU is an excellent team and has the horses to win it all. Kudos to McGown for being this competitive without the skills of Ben Patch. They block well, they dig and defend well, serve well, and they have powerful hitters. It's just that sometimes they go into these lapses where they lose focus and pass the ball very poorly. Setting is a weakness on this team, just like last year. If they can fix that, they'll contend for the championship again.

3 matches in 4 nights, and all on the road? That is some pretty lousy scheduling!
