I would have loved to have been able to see Kyle Morrel (FS, 1981-1984) on that list:

    - lettered as a freshman after extenstive playing time in nickel back packages
    - 3 yr starter (Soph, Jun, Sr)
    - Captain (Sr)
    - 1st team All-American
    - drafted 4th round 1985 by the Minnesota Vikings (back when they had 12 draft rounds)

.....but injuries stopped his career. I heard he was hurt his rookie season in pre-season, put on injured reserve, played sparingly his 2nd year and got hurt again (and released) his 3rd year. Can anyone shed some light on that?

It's amazing how much things beyond one's control (injuries, for one) can affect their entire career.

It's an impressive feat just to even make an NFL roster, let alone get into a single game and record a statistic. Lot of work goes into that single tackle. Hat's off to anyone who has done it.

(Kurt Gouveia is a freakin' stud!, and if I remember right, he wasnt' even all that tall.)
