    Depending on how thick that hair is they could also call it "boaring" or "porcupining," because after a couple of days the stubble starts to turn in to little bristles or quills.

    From the article: "... Proctor & Gamble, which makes Gillette razors, had flat sales in their grooming products 'sparked largely by a shift to disposable razors over blade and cartridge systems.'"

    Is one reason that people are not buying blade systems because they have to jump through hoops to get them? You can find them online, but the stores around here don't usually carry traditional double-edged razors, though one had a special display that went up before Christmas with razors and blades in one package "as seen on TV" - but they didn't and don't have any replacement blades to buy separately. Neither of the two big(gish) box stores around here do, but two grocery stores have them. No razors, just the blades. Theoretically, at least. The last time I checked, one was out of stock.
