Maybe the biggest problem with Common Core is it's revealing the underfunding results of underfunding education in Utah for so long. Utah might consider abandoning Common Core just because it's too tough, our students are struggling matching the standards, compared to students in other states.

Common Core might work well in states like Massachusetts where there's a commitment to education, but here its resulting in emergency meetings of principals and their teachers to figure out how to reduce very high failure rates among students trying to meet standards they're unprepared for.
