A+ on your assessment in this article.

I also really enjoyed the comments by the color commentator on the Comcast SportsNetwork. He was soooo very complementary of BYU's team and coaching. It was nice to hear such friendly comments.

The criticisms in this article are spot on, in my opinion. I, too, cannot fathom how BYU coaches could basically bench Winder after he had such a great 1st half. The only possible explanation would be a minor injury that they didn't want to risk aggravating.

But to only go 8 deep in a game which really was never in doubt during the 2nd half? Yes, other guys should have played some minutes. Coaches, please don't wear out the best players by overplaying them during the first half of the conference slate.

Agree that Winder deserved more playing time after his first half performance, but over the season Winder has been pretty inconsistent. Not a consistent scorer like Haws but he does bring defense and rebounding.

I also agree with the author's assessment of Mika. He has been playing pretty poor lately, especially defensively. I sure would like to get more points from Austin. BYU should have gone small the second half! playing Winder more and Mika less.

Carlino is hitting his stride. Great game! And he was having fun!

Right on the nose about the coaching.

BYU can sometimes impress with the depth of their bench (except for the bigs). Hopefully they can keep up their winning ways next week, go Cougars!
