Anytime you get into a championship game and come away empty is extremely devastating not only to the coach and players but also to the fans. I hope the team can rebound back and do well but I'm not optimistic that they can duplicate last year's success without Ben. I'll be pleasantly surprised if they do. Curious to see how the two European kids will help out!

    Go Cougars!

What McGown is really saying, as he explained in the Cougar Club luncheon this week, is that BYU is still struggling to find adequate replacements for some of his most dynamic players from last season, including Ben Patch, whose size and ability were nearly irreplaceable by a single player.

I think what McGown is trying to say is that he, and the team, have not recovered from NCAA Championship loss, and that is why they are struggling in the early season.

I would really like to see how these new Europeans on the team do. Have they been playing much?
