With all those great NFL players at the u you would think they would win a few more games. Must be poor coaching. I'm sure that new OC will make all the difference this year. Then next year he can co-coach the QBs with BJ, the brightest offensive mind in the nation.

4 years in a row in recruiting, 4 years in a row on the field. Coincidence? Nope!

But you guys shouldn't worry, stars don't matter. Its just a coincidence Alabama has been among the highest stars every year and is one of the best teams every year.

Utah headed towards 5 in a row.

I guess when recruits can pick Pac 12 Utah or indy WAC byu they prefer Utah.

    No surprise

    @ CB
And the losing has taken its toll on Utah Recruiting.
Check out every site on this years recruiting. BYU is tied or ahead in stars (the one they are tied on does not factor in the no-ranking recruits.
BYU also has a three star and a 5 star recruits coming for visits in two weeks.

According to Scout and Rivals, Utah has beaten byu in recruiting both head to head AND average stars each of the last 4 season.

In fact, utahs worst year of the last 4 is better than byu's best year of the last 4 years.

So, apparently the recruits have spoken.

Sorry, a 7-5 WAC team is even less desireable than a 5-7 team that plays against the best teams in the nation week in and week out

@Chris B- recruits also care about 5-7 and 5-7 the past two year. I'm just saying. Recruits really like winning programs and NFL caliber players like Ziggy, KVN and Cody Hoffman.

On second thought, maybe recruits don't really care all that much. They probably only care what conference they are in, because that is all that matters.

Congrats to boh Star and Ziggy. I enjoy watching athletes with ties to the state of Utah succeed, regardless of where they played. I am a BYU fan so of course I follow the BYU players more, but it I enjoy Star's success as well.

    Go Cougars!

Just imagine how good Lotulelei would be if he didn't rest every other play.

Star just adds to the 20+ utes playing in the nfl

Utah has more nfl alum than all other Utah schools combined.

Recruits know. And you better believe they care

    Go utes

Very happy to see both succeeding. Glad that Lotulelei's health concerns don't seem to be affecting him at all right now.
