Wasatch Academy has a great team and other 2A teams will benefit from competing with them. Utah should take pride in their accomplishments. Knock off the crying and play ball !!!!!

it is silly for wasatch academy to be playing in 2A, They could have easily requested a move up (as Judge did for all sports except football) and I believe the UHSSA would have granted the request. But WA will go out with their international division one recruited bball team and play the likes of Kanab, Panguitch, Enterprise etc and most likely win the state championship. I guess they might feel good about that, but if I was them, I would not.

How does beating a first round 4A playoff loser Orem make WA anything but a good 2A team? Orem got trounced in their own tourney by several average teams, so this win over Orem can't be that big of a deal.
Now had they beat Lone Peak last year, or even Alta this year then ok they can be called one of the best teams in the state.

Recruiting out of state talent allows Mr. Morgan the luxury to make such comments. How would it be? The true 2A programs from region 15, 16, 17 and 18 are lucky to have one or two top-notch players, WA has an entire team.
