Tim Lawson and his family have been my neighbors the past several years. They are a great family, work hard, serve in their chosen religion (including visits to my home), and are in every way a credit to the neighborhood. Here is what we know about the present situation:

The past two Attorneys General are being investigated. It's a juicy story since it involves high-ranking republican politicians.Tim was an associate of theirs in some disputed degree.

The County Prosecutors have many reasons to go all out to attack Mr. Swallow, Mr Shurtleff, and anyone associated with them.

Tim Lawson has been arrested and bail initially set based on the charges against him. He'll see a judge on Wednesday and no doubt bail will be greatly reduced or eliminated altogether. He is not a flight risk.

There are always two sides to every story. The newspapers have reported only brief details from one side. At this point most everything about this story is speculative and he-said / she-said. I've only seen Tim as a person doing good in his community. No one can yet judge the present situation.

At least this has got the former Attorney General talking about his involvement in this whole process. It is great how the recent former Attorney General swore he didn't do anything wrong. Now, the former, former AG says similar things about his involvement.

Fire burns and cauldrons bubble. Truth is still the truth with only some of the facts changing for the top law enforcers in our State of Utah.

Endorsers can also accept some culpability.

"Thornbirds" WHEN did Hillary and Barry become Republicans? You describe those two very well.

I fully support prosecution of felonies but RINO's aren't the ONLY ones in that camp!

Longtime friend? It was more than that. Mark Shurtleff actually endorsed Tim Lawson when he ran for Utah County Commissioner!

Watch what happens. Surtleff and Swallow cant help Lawson anymore. Ironically, only thr prosecutors can.
He will spill ALL the beans now. There is going to be a lot of ugliness brought forth that we could never had imagined.

Are Rebublican individuals hoping to participate in politics, required to participate in/and then pass these pre-requisites?
"Artful Lying; Creative ways of distorting the truth; A sharp guy has no recall; Quietly amassing your fortune; Lengthening your governmental stay"?
Do they study how to "Be credible while denying anything you previously stated"?
"Changing your mind with the drop of a hat", must have been recently added following 2012 election?
