Utah State is a good team, no matter what people say. We've gone from 1-2 win seasons to 3 seasons in a row of winning seasons. 7 games in 2011, 11 in 2012, and now 8 with a possibility of 9 in 2013. Very few teams are able to maintain that kind of success long term.

We are what we are: A small school with a small athletic budget. No one is claiming we belong in the BCS. For where we are and who we are we are doing extremely well. Aggie fans are just excited about their team, and justifiably so. Every team has injuries, but not every team withstands those injuries to go on to win 8 and possibly 9 games.

I admit, the relentless criticisms from some posters on here really get under my skin, but the criticism is baseless and passive aggressive, and it doesn't change my mind about USU. I love my Aggies, I go to games, I support the institution, and no amount of whining and bleating about how lowly we are will change that.

    Go Aggies.

Stang0 will find fault with anything USU. He can't grasp the concepts of over coming adversity, giving your best effort win or lose. Stang0 can never answer the question..what did you find commendable about the USU season this year? His answer, of course, would be something like "your acne is getting better"…USU playing bowl time in San Diego is great for the USU football program, regardless of what Stang0 thinks about it. If USU were to follow Stang0's reasoning they would give up athletics entirely so as to avoid losing. I don't belittle individuals because they are in a wheel chair or handicapped, I admire their courage to overcome adversity. In the same line, I admire teams who meet the challenges of a difficult season head on and never give up. It is a great quality that should be admired by all.

Well last year USU beat Louisiana Tech in Louisiana and they were ranked. When was the last time SUU or Utah beat a ranked team on an away game Stang?

I think Richard/Stang is just jealous of USU since USU is the only Utah football team that is facing a rank team in a Bowl game. How long has it been since any Utah football team played a ranked opponent in a bowl game?

I'm pleased with the Poinsettia Bowl and playing NIU. It's somewhere a little warmer for the Aggies and I like the MAC. Are we the 'big boys' or the in one of 'the big bowls?' No, but who cares? It's college football and this is a good time! Go Aggies!
