Are you trying to interrupt a good old "we hate all things Obama" rant session with facts again?

with the extended unemployment benefits being cut off in January, I would expect people to start going back to work. amazing how that works...

You've been listening to the lame stream media too much. All you have to do is do a little investigation on your own. The goobermint's own figures prove that they are creative in their accounting.

Is this report put out by the same Dept. that put out the job numbers prior to election? Those numbers if you recall are in serious question. It seems as though the census bureau cooked the books for you guessed it The King. As long as this administration exists I do not believe much when I hear "The government says" or especially when it is "the White House says".

Government jobs have actually dropped since Obama took office. Somewhat little known fact is that "communist" Obama has reduced size of Federal workforce more than any modern president. If the government jobs kept pace, we would be close to historic highs in employment right now. So, this drop in unemployment, while marred by the increase in lower paying jobs and decrease in average hours worked per week, is really good sign. Considering that Republicans in Congress are obstructing economic recovery every way they can (bordering on treason), current economic state of the country is pretty good and promising.

The REALLY sad part is that the percentage that have simply given up trying to find a job is probably 3x 7%.

The other sad part is that of the 220k "new" jobs created, 41% of those were in government!

this doesn't mean companies are hiring - this simply means people have stopped looking for work and have fallen off the government unemployment roles. This is actually a false narrative that obscures the real picture of what is actually happening. Barack will of course try to suggest business is booming as he always has. Real unemployment is closer to 12%. Welcome to Pottersville.

Just another cooked up report from the white house like the one last year before the election!

This is just another misrepresentation of the evil empire of obama! The truth is that many are now working 28 hour jobs and many others have fell off unemployment or quit trying. obama is succeeding in his goal to destroy the USA.

Oh the haters will find a way to turn "anything obama" in to a negative. No matter what the data says, it's wrong it if does not fit the agenda of the fringers. Come on now folks, isn't this 'hate everything obama" thing getting old? How long can you keep this up in face of contradicting data? Man, get over it folks, he won, he has a majority of congress on his side, and will have even more of a majority come 2014. Thanks for making it easier for the POTUS by continuing this ill-fated strategy of total and complete blindness to reality.

What a joke! The Labor department massages the figures to make it look like things are rosy. Jobless figures are down because so many people lost their benefits. This is all part of the Dear Leader's strategy to bring in socialism.

And we know that many unfortunate Americans have fallen off the rolls altogether and therefore are not counted as amoung the unemployed. So is this story a glass half full or half empty?
