Thanks for that little nugget that has absolutely nothing to do with the article or my comments.

It's too bad the Utes don't have a men's volleyball team, but at least you have coed skiing.

Apparently BYU doesn't have a writer that will publish a story about their team making the tournament, which is sad. They're a good, well-established team, they deserve better pub than that. So I'll talk about them here.

They may have the toughest route to a possible Final Four of the entire bracket. ASU, while inconsistent, is a very good team when they're on top of their game. They've got a very athletic libero and some long, athletic hitters and blockers. Then they'd likely play Hawai'i, a seeded team, and on their home court with a great fanbase, no less. If they made it through that, the PAC-12's top two teams, USC then UW, would likely be waiting for them.

Utah, on the other hand, if somehow managed to get by Penn State, would have a pretty manageable road until the Elite Eight, where Stanford will probably be. Will be fun to see how the bracket plays out, though!

Who am I sir, 9 PAC teams (75% of the conference)--Washington, USC, Stanford, Oregon, Arizona, Cal, Utah, Colorado and ASU. SEC had 8 (62%), Big XII 4 (44%), B1G 8 (67%), ACC 4 (27%), WCC 2 (20%), WAC 1 (11%), Big Sky 1 (9%), and MWC had 1 (9%) to name a few others of national and local interest. The teams to beat are definitely Texas and Penn State, but it's great progress to see Utah right in the thick of the deepest conference nationally!

Well earned Utes! Now make waves.

Post season play - 8 teams from the PAC-12. Wow, that's respect.

Really happy for the ladies. They've got some outstanding senior leadership, and definitely deserved and earned their way in. 9 PAC-12 teams in the tournament is pretty incredible, I wasn't sure about Colorado as they had a pretty low RPI, but good on them. Go beat Yale and have a chance to shock the world on Saturday!
