Carbon monoxide detectors in schools: Only 2 states require them

    So schools ask for donations of tissue, antibiotic wipes, and snacks but not a couple dollars for a CO detector? This seems like a problem with an fairly simple fix.

    Why would I be surprised to find the school district, who easily raises taxes by double digits after one of their "public hearings," would consider CO detectors to be an unnecessary burden and expense?

    Sheesh, with two kids in Elementary school maybe I'll just pay $80 to buy one for each room!
