Loved this article. I wish I would have had it a couple of weeks ago when I taught about Family History in Gospel Doctrine. I have always learning stories about my ancestors.

The missing piece of the story I would really like to hear, is what brother Larry said in the phone call and what he knew at the time. Did he know more than that his little brother was missing? Had he seen him on the tracks with the train approaching? Why did the parents think he was dead?

Waht a great story, Our children - great grandchildren have no idea what our lives ere like if we don't record them as part of a family History. I am sending this story to some of my Grandsons who are of the Bangerter Family. Their father was Bruce Bangerter, and Grandfather was Herman Bangerter.
