Crowdfunding is truly opening a door to an entire new wave of entrepreneurs. It will take a short amount of time before the scam artists move in. Unfortunately, it is difficult to tell the difference between an sincere entrepreneur who was not successful and a scam artist who was just taking people's money. As with everything, caveat emptor (let the buyer beware). 1. Do you homework. 2. Never invest more than you can afford to lose.
