@RoHan, Lucas has signed a 2 year guaranteed contract, he can't be cut.

@jamsenior, Signing Milsap would have cost us $10 million per year, he might have helped us win a couple of extra games and made our draft pick a little higher that's not a good thing, his playing time would have came directly from Kanter and Favors, and Gobert would not have stepped one foot on the basketball court.

The Jazz made a huge mistake by not signing any of their own free agents. Veteran leadership is sorrily missing. Keeping at least Mo Williams would have won a couple games or Paul Milsaps steady hand in crucial moments are all missed. While the young guys have a lot talent they don't have the experience to take over a game consistently . Gordon has tried but hasn't established himself as the go to guy while Kanter and Favors are still finding their way in more games than not especially D. Favors. But the point guard is a glaring deficiency . Until Trey gets back the Jazz won't know where the team is in all areas of team efforts. The glaring mistakes do not belong to Ty Corbin but to upper management. He has not had any consistency since signing up as head coach but Jazz fans will need a scapegoat and he's it. The new GM will barely get toasted while Ty and his tireless efforts will go down in bright flames. I don't think Ty has as much input as Jerry did.
