CougarSunDevil nailed it. Austin Collie was awesome, but he had future NFL quarterbacks throwing to him. Hoffman broke all of these records with one of BYU's most lethargic offenses and least remarkable quarterback. I was a little frustrated with Hoffman's one game suspension, and then his 99 yard game. I want his records so remarkable that it will be said of every BYU receiver for the next 25 years, "he is good, but he is no Cody Hoffman."

Cody is the man! It has been a pleasure to see his amazing BYU career and here is hoping someone gives him a shot at the next level.

Congrats Hoff. 10 win season is still within reach. Win against Idaho St., Nevada, and Notre Dame will sit the cougars at 9-3. Bowl win would put BYU into double digits. I think that would be quite an accomplished season especially with what Hoff has had to deal with. (al la Nelson/Heaps)

Leave it to ChrisB to belittle a great accomplishment. As NevadaCoug has said, "Haters will hate."

Yep, some of those games came against former WAC teams: like Utah, Boise State, and Utah State.

And some of them came against teams like Wisconsin, Texas, Notre Dame, and Oregon State.

Hoffman just put up big numbers against a Big10 school. On the road. Can you give him some credit?

Of course not. Haters will hate.
