BYU has overcome two starting corners tearing ACLs. Bronco has much to be proud about with his 2013 group of players. They have solid leadership.

Chuckie Keaton's injury is the most significant injury this year locally.

As for Utah, injuries have derailed their season. Losing Kenneth Scott for the year in game one (WR) against USU and Jake Murphy (TE) a few weeks later has made it tough on Utah when they can't run the ball because defenses just key on Dres Anderson and his ability to make big plays in the passing game. To Anderson's credit he has come up big relatively often. Still Utah's offense is limited and Travis Wilson hasn't been right in half the games.

Chalk up youth for some of Wilson's struggles, but all four of Utah's losses saw Wilson dealing with tough circumstances leading up to those games. The death of his best friend the week of the Oregon State loss, the three days sick in bed before the UCLA loss, and then the shredded sausage hand issues in back to back losses against Arizona and USC. Utah's defense dominated USC.

    Blechen's injury also hurts.
