No Jimmer. He might be able to bring money but not wins or defense.

Tinsley knows the system, and the Jazz know Jamaal. He'll school Burke well when Trey gets back on the court, and, for the time being, Trey will get to watch a true point guard play the game. He can mesh what he sees from Lucas and Tinsley with what he saw this past summer from John Stockton. Good move, Jazz.

Jimmer can't cover his own shadow and is an undersized 2 guard. We need a facilitator to help the core 4 develop their games. Trading for Jimmer just clogs the system and puts undue pressure on Ty.

Now in the off season Jimmer will become a free agent, and he might very well be a great fit for the second unit. Good time to pick him up if fills a need as a scorer.

I hear Sacto is trying to get Rush from Utah for Jimmer and filler to make it work. With Tinsley back it looks more like they stay the course. Rush when healthy is a beast on defense, one of the better two guard defenders in the league. He also shoots over 40% from downtown.

Here's another plea to get Jimmer. Surely he is available, and maybe the best 3-point shooter the Jazz could obtain...isn't the college player of the year worth a look?

Never has a washed-up 35 year old never-has-been without any ability to score been such a site for sore eyes (sore from watching pre-season failures).

JL3's scoring might be a good fit for the 2nd unit, but he couldn't set up his teammates if his life depended on it. Our core 4 need someone to help them develop, not someone to watch like DevinMoJL3.

PLEASEEEE make Jamaal the starter and leave him there until Burke takes the position away from him. At that time, he may very well fall to 3rd point guard, but the core 4 will have grown and hopefully learned how to score in the meantime.

I like Jamaal, but hopefully it's just a one year deal.
