    I won't be there.

Can I mark that down Stang that the Aggies won't go bowling. If we win 6 games going into the last game against Wyoming. I will invite you one more time to come to the game and expect you to come. If we don't have six games going into the Wyoming game I will wear a t-shirt to the game saying "Stang was right, the Aggies are pathetic."

I don't think Aggie or Cougar fans have yet developed the detestation for each other that sometimes accompanies a rivalry, and I hope we never do. Good luck, Aggies, go and take it!

I keep trying, but I just can't bring myself to cheer for the Utes. With a straight face anyway...

I agree with you Stang, will the Aggies make it or not. All Aggies hope they make it, Cougar fans in general hope they make it. Ute fans in general hope the Aggies will make it. "Although you want people to think you know." I couldn't say it any better about yourself.

Still not sure how good (or bad) New Mexico is, but the Aggies dominated from the outset. If the Aggies can continue to control both lines of scrimmage the way they did against the Lobos it's entirely likely that they can win out. An 8-4 season given the loss of Chuckie would be a great accomplishment.
    Go Aggies!

Looking at the rest of the schedule USU has the easiest opponents compared to BYU and the Ute's so USU should easily get six wins this year, you would have to be ignorant not to think USU is going to a bowl even if you aren't an USU fan.

I agree with the writer. However I think the Ags win out and hopefully, very hopefully the Rams, Cowboys, or Aztecs sneak up on the Broncos and the Ags play for the championship. Despite all the injuries the Ags are looking tough. Another week to get Garretson ready and USU will be fine. Love the Bull on the helmet....looks great.

The most likely scenario is that USU wins the remaining games on its schedule. Unfortunately this will just mean we are tied with Boise. Since Boise owns the tie-breaker they will go to the Conference Championship game. But the bright side is that we will still go to a nice bowl - most likely one with warmer weather than Idaho! :-)

To be tied with the Division winner in our first year in the Mountain West Conference is a pretty good way to start. Next year is shaping up to be a very enjoyable year as well.

    Big blue,
I agree that USU could go 8-4 as will BYU. Utah will go 5-7 and miss out again on a bowl. This will make the best teams in the state 1. BYU, 2. USU, and three will be a tossup between Weber and Utah.

I wouldn't be surprised if USU wins out and ties Boise State for the Division. USU has a legit defense and more than enough going for it on offense to run the table. Good luck Ags the rest of the way.

Agreed, Big Blue. Our depth has improved substantially over the last few years. Because of that, I see no reason why we can't win out, even with the injuries. DeMartino destroyed the Lobos and he was banged up. The bye week will help everyone get back to full strength for the final stretch.

The only team I'm a bit concerned about is Colorado State. They always seem to give us some fits. And they OWNED Wyoming on their home turf. Glad we get another bye before that one!

USU will be favored in all four of the remaining games. Even after the lose of key players the Aggies are the most likely Utah team to finish 8 and 4.
