Pleasant Grove has only played 3 true opponents, Timpview (who has since made a QB change), Lone Peak, and I suppose Lehi. All the other games were easy wins against sub par teams. Isn't it interesting how the schedule fooled so many until PG started playing real teams?
I predict a PG loss to Herriman and a close win at AF. Probably no playoffs this year.

Good to hear about the Pioneers. Thanks for the update.

The Bruins have one in the bag this week, then Stanford.

Let's see...If we get lucky and beat Stanford, and Stanford beats UCLA, and we only lost to UCLA by 7...Does that mean we're better?...lol...just kidding...you know how we are around here.

Good luck to your Bruins and Thunder...and Go Utes!

And with regards to the Bruin Ute game last week. Utah has my respect, always has, but they were tough. That game could have been way lopsided if UCLA would have capitalized on the TO's, but it was close because of the way Utah's defense played, not because UCLA was making mistakes. I am glad my Bruins won, but it was a pucker all game long.

I am rooting for your Pioneers, I know they are a rival of our W.Lake Thunder, but I was very impressed with Lehi's RB, that kid reads holes well in a tight formation offense they run. He was impressive. Let's just hope AF and Herriman beat PG and I think Lehi is a lock, because I think they beat Lone Peak no problem. Again, just two cents, not worth much.

I have seen the Pioneers play twice this year, and they are tough. Beating AF, playing PG tough, actually should have beat PG. PG had to win with a score with only 16 seconds left in the game which came after Lehi making a mistake to give the ball back. Lehi has L.Peak and Herriman left. I think both winable games, and both at home. But then again, in high school, home field advantage is questionable I think. Even if Lehi splits the remaining two games, I still think they have a shot. One team I think on the outside looking in is PG, losses to Riverton and LP and still have to play AF and Herriman. I think Lehi's chances are good. Here is how I see it finishing up, only my two cents, not worth much.

    Riverton 5-1
    American Fork 4-2
    Herriman 4-2
Lehi 3-3 *I think Lehi beats LP and gets in on head to head but loses to Herriman. But don't get me wrong, Herriman is a winnable game for the P.Neers
    Lone Peak 3-3
    P. Grove 2-4
    W.Lake 0-6

What do you think about the Pioneers? My alma mater. I see that they beat AF but lost to PG, they we're our rivals back in my day(we never beat AF). Do you think they have a chance to make the playoffs?

BTW it was an honor to play the Bruins last week, I think we made a good showing despite the 6 picks. Kyle and the boys are working hard to gain some respect in the PAC 12.

Only giving up 17 points for Westlake is an accomplishment against a team like PG. Wesltake is young and small, and to be honest, we have no business in 5A. I feel bad for our boys, we are outmatched with size, speed and strength. I will still attend all the games. GO THUNDER!
